Why See the Link First
A QR code is unreadable to a human, so scanning one is agreeing to open an address you have not seen. Phone cameras show a truncated preview at best, and a swapped sticker on a parking meter or a payment terminal is a known and simple attack.
Both tools here print the full decoded string and the host it resolves to, and neither one follows the link. Deciding is your job, which is the whole point.
